You are a brave man… I no longer go anywhere near black cars anymore. I'm far too OCD to deal with how simple flaws can show up in black paint. I wash, clay, compound/paint correct, polish, seal and wax my cars… and i still spend a lot of time on any car, dark or not.
The time will come however when I will try a black car again, but for now, no thank you!
But when your done its all worth it.^^^^^^^
Same here...I had a black 99 cobra and it was miserable to try and keep it perfect. I purposely stayed away from black cars when shopping for my focus. I plan on doing the whole wash/clay/polish/wax sometime soon but the damn weather (or my schedule) won't cooperate! You are a brave man… I no longer go anywhere near black cars anymore. Car looks GREAT! It's great to see another SVT looking so fine!!
This 100%. My last two cars were black and while they did look spectacular after detailing it was a lot of work. It was a lot easier keeping up on maintenance though before I got engaged. lolYou are a brave man… I no longer go anywhere near black cars anymore.
