Looks like I missed a lot of tl;dr paragraphs so I'll just say what I came here to say lol.

Jose dont be a mechanic if you want to get into the automotive industry. Its not a fun industry to be in.
Be an engineer like Ben?

The big problem is that the car was sold a certain way and nobody would touch it after, so the resale value would go to zero. So it is not just the thousands of dollars in parts, you also lose all resale value and insurance probably wouldn't cover any of the replacement parts for anything swapped.
All of the above is acceptable... Except the insurance part. Lol

Perhaps in another lifetime. *sigh*

Eh, go find some good beer, wine, mead, liquor, whatever and at least try it.

For whatever reason in America alcohol is seen as something just to get drunk off of. Meanwhile in the rest of the world it's enjoyed with meals and other times in moderation. You don't have to buy the cheapest booze you can find then drink it all...

What I'm getting at, is that there is a lot of really tasty adult beverages out there. I wouldn't avoid such drinks due to not wanting to be a part of the "party crowd" that is more concerned with quantity then quality. I've been there done that...and it's something I really don't partake in any longer. Now, relaxing with a nice, quality beer or glass of mead while I smoke a cigar and enjoy the sunset is sooo much better.

Not that you HAVE to...just keep an open mind about it.
this x1000 anyone ever have summer Shandy? Awesome sunny day beverage. assuming someone was or age to consume such a product

My Buddy that has a Boxter and two Lotus says the car he's owned that he misses the most and is the most fun was his MX-5... He bought it for about $5K and sold it three years later for the same amount.

I personally like the Elise and Exige S he's had, but that's me LOL
I like those cars too, there are a few around that I have seen, but way more expensive, saw a nice aston martin vantage this morning.

Last time I drove the Exige S, he was running Cup Car programming on it, so it was putting out about 265hp... Holy Cow it was fast

Just shy of 2100lbs

1.8 liter supercharged 4 cylinder

It's like a big kids' go kart of awesomeness

I agree with Ray, Jose.

After spending 3 and a half years literally dealing with the worst aspects of alcohol, coupled with suffering through years and years of an alcoholic Grandfather which resulted in him leaving this earth far to early. And my wife losing her grandfather a few years ago to alcohol; I really do not like alcohol. I don't consume it myself for religious reasons. But religion aside I wouldn't touch it. I understand SOME can use it responsibly and in moderation. I just don't think it is worth the gain. But I don't look down on anyone who chooses to drink. As long as they don't drive afterwards. I wish the US had a BAC limit like Japan.

How do u like the sts Larson? Install a pia? I like mine but remember the installation being a pain. Don't know about yours since it looks slightly different but I had to shave or round off the shifter bracket so it didn't hit the left side of the plastic housing
