Yep I grew up in farming areas, so I'm used to it. It's not the greatest smell in the world but I'll take it over Milwaukee's air quality, which I dealt with when I was in school.

Also grew up with well water so I'm familiar with that. We actually had a dedicated well inspector come out yesterday too. The equipment is all fairly recent and capable, including the softener. The water does have a lot of iron and hydrogen sulfide, so it can stain red if not kept in check and kind of stinks like eggs lol. But it tastes just fine, quite good actually. Hopefully the lab results come back good as well.

I love well water. Much better than city crap. I have been some places that I won't even drink the water....Baraboo for instance.

So, who's out of power? We're sitting in the dark here at work, hoping it will be on in the next hour. Apparently I've got power at home, but a lot of the Fox Valley is out.

We get nasty storms here but we have yet to ever lose power *knocks on wood* even during a storm a couple of years back that had tornado sirens going.

ive got power but my sister up the street doesnt. lots of branches and whole trees going down wit hteh weight of teh ice. (funny thing too as my car is frozen in place. (not that i want to drive on summe tires when its slippery out anyhow.

got my shifter extension in teh mail today and also had a generally good day.

Good to hear! Just a heads up, invest I. A really good generator... Power goes out all the ime at my folks place and its good o atleast keep the sump pump running...



So, who is all oing to roadhouse Saturday? I have something that's possibly come up for Saturday so I may not be able to make it... But we will see

I'll be going for sure. Sucks that we won't have the kind of weather I was hoping for, looks to be low 40s and cloudy.

Brenton I'll be curious to see how that extension turns out!

got the taxes done finally. its not spectacular but at least i will have a return. now to spend it wisely when it arrives.
who knows if i can keep on trucking here i could see some additional atmospheres on the engine.....
