So i was at the local ford dealership yesterday to get my emissions passed, and while i was waiting i figured i was going to look at the ST. i asked the guy who was directing me to the waiting room where i could find an ST, and he proceeded to tell me that they are not ST's, they are "all" in fact SI's! after a brief stunned silence, i told him that he was in fact working for the wrong dealership, and directed him to one that i had found outside... shameful.

Stealth I'd save up the coin for a better one than that imo. if you want one to last a long time find one with a rubber surround. They last longer than foam. Also are you sure you want a 15? I high budget ten will work wonders. And save your back when you gotta pull it out on occaision.

^^ I'm gonna agree. I'm honestly surprised at how well my aftermarket-amplified JVC 8" performs in the stock housing. It certainly does the job for the type of music I listen to (mostly rock, of all sorts).

IMO, an amplified 10" in a modded SVT housing would be the perfect combo of loudness, clarity, and practicality.

I have had this sub before and it was in the trunk of my first car. I know it's cheap, but believe me, it slams for the money. And i only had it running on 600rms. A 10" just wouldn't hit the lows like i want (maybe a xxx RE). And this isn't just for a little extra bass to the music, it's for bumping. As loud as possible.

On top of that, i had a budget. And i needed new shoes lol. So this will be fine for now, at least til spring.

Cool beans, and thanks for the bump on the exhaust, even though it's looking like I'll have to ship it if I want to sell it... The shipping will probably cost more than the exhaust itself is worth.

...they are both wagons. [:)] Which one would you take?

having test driven it, the ZF sport 8AT is the only automatic transmission I have ever seriously considered buying. Fully manual operation in sport+ anyway.

I still say BMW...the look is just more sleek...I hate those tail lights on the lexus. I'd rather do a Subaru outback legecy GT over the lexus but not over the BMW :)
