v710's!! moving my car back home this week/weekend so i can finish it in a garage by my house!!
V710's are still slower than A6's though.

although I'm pretty sure there are a few classes like BSP that are soft enough at nationals that you could run V710's and still win if you had the right combination of driver and car.

Hoosier seems to have cornered the serious race tire market at the club racing and autocross level...

I doubt v710's will win you nationals in ESP and the other highly contested classes though.

I'm sure you can run V710's in some of the ladies classes and be real competitive, but i don't advise dressing in drag...

sucks because for cars that are really hard on tires, the A6's will go toast real quick.

What's Aumick running? cause there's no way he's easy on tires... that car is insane.

I found it interesting what curt said at the event... He said Aumick needs to go to driving school, that he relys too much on the car... I wonder how true that is... there's got to be some truth to it if Aku can hop in and almost equal his times.

man reading the A6 reviews just makes me think that there are a lot of people spending money on a6's and then bitching when they wear early because they're driving wrong...

the miata reviews talk about over 100 runs on a set.

There was an s2000 owner who got 100 out of his set of A6's, and another one that was complaining and was going to go back to V710's.

Silly people are silly.

Aumick is running 255 A6's.

I agree w/ curt especially after riding w/ mike on the first run. I felt through the back section I was way smoother than he was and had it not been for fuel cut out I'm positive I'd have had a faster raw time than he did (meaning had he had 0 comes I'd have still been quicker).

Agreed, A6's will definitely have less life than V710's no matter what but if you treat them properly they won't be short lived as some people.

Also classing etc plays a large part of how long A6's will last. those tires like at least -3 degrees of camber and many stock class car's simply can't get to those numbers.

if you can't set the tire up how it wants to be run of course it wont last as long.
the 100hp 2000lb miata will be far easier on tires than the 450hp 2800lb Subaru definitely!

Agreed, you were visibly smoother outside the car as well. although you've come a long ways! forget which event it was that I had fuel cut but you hadn't noticed the issue. smooth sustained G forces are when the fuel all moves away from the pickup
