Sat - up at 6:30 to spend the day in lansing auto-x, reclaimed my victory over Yonkers by 4 tenths.. he had a bit of water on the track still in his morning runs and I was in 2nd heat but unsure if that accounted for a full .4s or not.. he got second place though. I got 1st in DS, 3rd in pax (although should be 2nd because first place car was in wrong class with a softer pax but w/e) and I managed to some how have the 4th fastest overall raw time too.. stoked. Then went back to GR and had dinner with Wags for his bachelor party. That was hilarious as his friends chained a bowling ball to his leg and he got drunk and we made him yell silly things at people walking by (we were eating outside). Then went back to EL after and partied down at state.

Sun - recovery day.. got home by 1:30 and was in and out of consiousness on the couch the rest of the day.

I'm not sure how much of a difference the wet made but I know that the grip between my 1st run and my last run was completely different.......actually I'm betting that by heat 3 we both would've been even faster but o well was still fun!

I was playing the lottery hoping that heat 1 would be the only dry heat...had my crystal ball said no rain all day I would've held off for 3rd heat as you originally suggested.

A new clutch at 80k doesn't mean it was/is beat. If it's boosted like it says in the ad and was a factory clutch it's completely understandable. If it was an aftermarket clutch then also understandable due to aftermarket clutches not lasting as long as OEM in most situations.

Right right. Fair enough. Would have loved to do a fun run or 2 with ya afterwards but oh wells. Wish I hadn't been working that first heat so I could have road with ya once and then you could have rode with me and seen my lines and crap.

I'll be working on yours and my video tonight and then tackle tyler's and josh's tomorrow.. probably won't even make one for eric and kealan cuz lazy and no care..

make one for Kealan instead of Tyler then because tyler is slow/bad/doesnt care lol

or at least upload the raw footage for 1-2 of Tyler/Eric's runs so they have videos to show their friends.

Since you/me/kealan/josh were the 4 fastest it'd be fun to play them all side by side and see if/where the differences in driving styles really come into play.

Fair enough. Only reason I said neither of the 3rd heat guys are cuz we didn't get any of my gopro side view videos.. only the in cat from josh's contour.. I'll make em but they don't have the 2nd video in them.

Ya first couple runs I don't think you got any video because you seem to have a real good knack for taking it off of video mode and into picture mode w/ a timer lol. so pretty sure i just have a few stills from those and then i took it off for the s2k runs i rode in lol

I will agree and admit that 75% of the apple/iPhone hipsters/users what ever you wanna call them are just sheeple who wait and line to buy the next best thing because they are fanboi's and just want to brand whore everywhere. This appears to be one of them.

But as stated before I just enjoy the phone for what it is and the OS is easy for me to use and I like how the phone is set up. I've tried using droid phones and I'm just not a fan. I will not be buying a 5 cuz I don't want to spend full price since my upgrade isnt' up and i don't feel there is enough different between the 4S and the 5 to warrant and upgrade but when my phone upgrade is up I'm sure the 5S or what ever next phone will be out and I'll probably snag that.

Holy eff dead thread

I agree Brad. I had the Samsung Infuse for a week and a half (after having an iphone for 2 years) and the iphone was just more simple to use. I could really care less about most of the shit the phone CAN do..I use it to text, call, interwebs, and music. Hell I think I only have 12-15 apps. My biggest thing though overall is that I can control all my music that's on my phone from my radio and charge the phone at the same time. Can't do that with the droid because there are too many different kinds

This.

With the iPod/iPhone since they are basically the same thing and they haven't changed all the iPod interface stuff for radios works with your phone too and you can control the search for music via your head unit as opposed to scrolling through your phone.
