happened at MSU today. we had like 20 people work heat 1 and got done in a little under an hour and a half. everybody bailed after they ran because it looked like rain or they had places to be with their dads so me, courtney and like 2 other people had to run the entire second heat which meant tons of wasted time while they held cars at the start so we could get all the cones the noobs were hitting back into place. etc.

if you can't commit to the whole day dont even bother showing up.

also not saying thats what you meant I might've mis-understood but I have never seen that happen so drastically before today and it pissed me off because we could've all been done by like 1 ish if everybody had stuck around, instead the few of us that did stick around had to stay until almost 4.

Give me details. Might have 2 interested in it. Does it still have power loss issues, or was that with the supercharger?

Looks like there is a dent on the right side of the tank. and also ask what "power" mods it has and if it has been re-jetted after the "power" mods. And it seems a bit excessive to me if he lubes the chain after every ride. Otherwise that it looks good to me

I told him I was interested so I assume he'd give me a mod list like he said he would. I also said I wanna look at it tonight but that I wasn't going to make a decision tonight either. We'll see if he responds or not.

Edit: wow didn't even notice that dent...

The dent isn't the end of the world, can be fixed. That 1 series is amazeballs.

He's claimed a few times he'll be here tonight at dtw around 5

Edit:

I emailed about that 08 gsxr for $2500 and got a reply from somebody saying it is perfectly working, never been laid down and new price was $1900 lol... Sounds so sketchy

Yes it is aku, but likely at a very slow speed, or other shiz will be all scraped up. The problem with a laid down sport bike with fairings, is that they can hide a lot. Unless you pull them off, it's hard to tell a whole lot.

Hokey Petes!

spent today's lunch break making a spreadsheet with all of last years and this years auto-x's I competed in. Last year from April-November I did 9 events.

this year from April-Current I've already done 7

I need another set and yours are going to dry rot/not be sticky if you dont start using them soon....given that mine had an early '09 date stamp.
