new headlight/grille combo on order for the e30
Image

would've just bought a new bulb but I had 2 headlights (1 high, 1 low on opposite sides) apparently the stock headlights are sealed beam and require buying a whole new headlight so said eff it and bought this style that you can replace the bulbs in.
I like the yellow inners, thats sweet.

ya sealed beams suck...

when wilhelm loses a headlight i'm gonna get the Hella drop in replacements... with 80W low 100W high beams if i feel like being a dick.

Love that bimmer. Anyone have a cheap dependable DD car for sale? Must be autotragicz for the gf...

That was my other choice but I wound up getting a deal on the full set of 4 projector/elippsoid setup that made them the same price as getting a pair of hella drop ins.

Wilhelm?

just buy a manual miata and i'll trade straight up :)

note: i mean a running dependable one

Lol, I should, but she needs a car asap...

so buy wilhelm and tell brad to let me drive the beemer til i get a miata?

what's her budget?

Well it depends, ideally like 3k area? Could do 5k, but would prefer not too. Needs to be decent mpg too. (and reliable)

i could certainly be reasonable with wilhelm... $3k is more than enough for a miata.

he's reliable as hell now that he has a new battery and all that jazz.

kinda rough on cold starts but i'm looking into that and would be willing to fix that once a solution is found. it's not a real problem but you have to give him some revs when he's dead cold.

also wilhelm does 22mpg average for me (which is pretty much ALL city) as soon as you go on a long trip/get him on the highway he goes up to 27+ (also i could turn the alda back down and your mileage would go up)

also also kyle if you're seriously considering Wilhelm let me know. i threw it out there on a whim.... i need to see if i'm ready to let him go... or if i should be smart and drive le slow car and just save monies cause it'll last forever.

meh, 200k miles and rust. I have found a few like 01-03 tauruses, with like 100k miles for around that price, I think that may be a better route.

Sorry Timmay, don't want to get her wilhelm.

don't blame you.

and it's still 300k away from an engine rebuild.

besides the smart thing to do is drive the slow car until i'm like gradumacated and stuff...

so i'll just keep on keepin' on.

had my chance at a fast car and i cocked it up real good.

Just trying to convince a gf to buy an older diesel car, on a loan, isn't going to happen.

tbh it was a stupid idea.

not blaming you.
