I just picked up new wheels. [wiggle]

When I get home and have my camera. There WILL be pictures.

Really starting to realize just how involved I was when I had a clutch. Getting off the interstate, I go to downshift and am left with just letting the engine drone down. After reading all the C/D articles about the great tranny the manual is, I can't wait to get my foot back to working order so I can get one.
I just ordered a Ti hatch with clutch, Ford actually listened(a little), and put a manual in an upscale model. Upscale Focus, your oxymoron for the week...

Does anyone else think these cars are already incredibly low? There's a lot of ice on the ground here and the roads are uneven because of it. A small chunk of ice the size of an iceberg lettuce could hit the under of my car. The car is an SE Sport.

The Focus just turned 10k this morning. Damn I commute too far. I've only had her since 10/28/11...
I hear ya ... mine just turned 10k on 3/23 while driving 3 hours south for a midnight IMAX premier of Hunger Games. That movie was great, by the way.

For Northern Maine winters, my FoFo is as low as it could possibly be without risking damage. I envy folks that can lower their cars an inch and not pay dearly for it in winter. That said, winter up here can be a blast!

To answer your question, here's an interesting thread on ground clearance ... http://www.focusfanatics.com/forum/showthread.php?t=256768. It would appear that our cars are slightly lower than many of the competitor's compact cars.
When I switched my 17's (OEM Titanium size) for winter 15's (OEM S size), she dropped about 1/4 inch.

Damn this job is boring the life out of me.

Sad days car just rolled over 15,000 miles yesterday. April 25th will be a year of ownership
