no new news on this?
1/2 tuned so far. Been slacking on my part but the shop that installed the o2 bung for my wideband didnt weld it on right so the sensor isnt deep enough. getting all sorts of weird readings.

I tried to get them to fix it but they said its either bad placement (which they did) or because its a focus... anyway they blow and wont be getting my money from here on out.

dropping the car off to have a 3" exhaust fitted tomorrow. Vibrant muffler and ultra quiet resonator (got for a steal). Hell also be fixing the bung so Ill be ready to tune again. Ill get soundclips up here when its done and broken in

How do you have it sitting? Ive seen a few 2.0 duratec on craigs list there is one on there now for $350. with only 25K but im wondering if i should get a stand first or just put it on blocks. I think ide want to wheel it around if it gets in the way or i need to get to the sides or something.
i have my spare motor on an engine stand, its tore down to the stock shortblock im not sure whats going to end up happening with it. im starting to think of using more then 0 psi in my intake manifold.

ive done the same thing i got my tune started a couple months ago but havent gotten around to finishing it.

exhaust is all set, its 3" and uses a vibrant flat black muffler and a vibrant ultra quiet resonator. Its awesome! not as raspy as the MBRP, might be a little louder but at WOT it sounds godly for an all motor 4cyl

ill get a video once I can borrow a camera thatll do it justice

Got my hands on a Flip Cam (HD) so I hope to take some exhaust/ intake mani growl videos when I have time.

Judging by the other two 2.0/cossie dynos ive seen, about 165whp and 130-135wtq should be easy. well see where I am after the tune is done

still trying to fix an idle issue and finish tuning.

if you install one of these make sure you delete the PCV at the same time, it sucks pulling the mani off again lol

Finally took a vid:

Keep in mind its not done being tuned. should be a lot quicker when I can rev it to 7k

Thanks! Next up is to finish this tune asap and get it to the dyno.

I have a set of CFM UDPs sitting around and at least the water pump pulley will find a home on here. Hoping for a head swap with stage 2 cams down the line but since buying a house last year progress has slowed lol

Extremely happy that i found this thread on the 2.0. I recently just sent my 2.3 to an early grave this past Sunday and sent a rod through the block...

I was thinking about using the spare 2.0 block from a donor focus i have in my backyard to "eventually" swap out so i could build the 2.3. Needless to say i don't have a choice anymore and the 2.0 is what i'm gonna build up now. I don't mean to get everyone off the topic of doing the NA set up but I had the FSwerks turbo kit in the 2.3 and i want to incorporate it into this build and obviously strengthen up the block, does anyone have any good ideas for pistons/rods for this type of set up? Any help on this would be greatly appreciated!

CFM or Fwerk's

Why would you want to go from a 2.3 to a 2.0 ? the 2.3 blocks are just not that costly or hard to find

thrust bearings gone and the crank is walking. new engine time!

probably going to not install the cossie and start to take it back to stock. thought about doing a 2.3 but theres no low mileage engines in CT yards. that and im pretty fed up at this point so it might be time for something different. sorry to anyone who wanted to see this finished.
