that's no stage rally..

it's a TSD rally (get to the end at the right time, right average speed, following the route)

no one lets people do stage rallys sans cage... if you can flip a car at a RallyX you can sure as hell flip one on a stage rally.

Symantics. I know its not a Rally America event, I've read the details as I've thought about doing it. No shit its not a full on rally.

TSD's may be the most boring motorsport event known to man. I did one once with a buddy we still managed to get first but its ridiculously boring. might as well take a drive through the backwoods on your own. then you can go wahtever speed you want

Was it one up there Klod? The only thing that makes me think this one would be better is that maintaining 35mph average on twisty unplowed logging roads, could be a bit more exciting...

Also this, which Jalopnik claims are based on actual photos, but they didn't want to release the photos, and have ppl lose their jobs.

From that angle it looks pretty nifty. I like the more hatch like back half. Looking at it directly from the back though reminds me too much of the camero with the square lights. imo needs to keep signature round tails

Timmay,

what do you think of the idea of buying a R/C car (a good hobby shop level one) and then modeling up the suspension in say solidworks and then scaling it up?

from what I remember from my days of R/C cars the geometry on most of them was pretty good and the parts are very simple.....once you have the parts in solidworks it'd be easy to modify length/design/scale to use on a locost but you'd have all your pick-up points and such already designed for you..

could be a good/cheap way to get the suspension laid out and a rolling chassis should only be $45-75

It makes more than the V6 stang, not the V8? The V6 genesis coupe costs as much as a 5.0, the 2.0T is the real competitor for the V6 stang.

Also, more GT500 sexiness...

my magnaflow 2.5" exhaust arrived yesterday. I'll install that on the st tomorrow if my exhaust insulators arrive from tousley. Has anyone bought any parts from his website? i bought them friday night and it said shipping and handling tba, does he call to let me know how much shipping will be? He hasn't called me

Sounds neat but from reading an entire book on car suspension design you pretty much just pick your upright pickup points (aka miata knuckles and hubs) and then design from there making sure you meet your requirements (low roll center, slight camber change in corners, anti-dive/squat, etc)

Sent from my DROID R2-D2

scott i ordered my edge blade from him and didn't know the shipping price till i got it!!! I was kind of upset from that cause it was like $13 for a freaking wiper blade
