it sounds quite nice. it's all a matter of setting your EQ's properly and remembering that there's a limit.
why wouldn't it sound good? i don't have my hatch cover in there anymore and it's perfect, just how i like it, once i set the subwoofer gain and EQ how i like them.

if you like huge amounts of bass then they are for you. I like good quality sound and bass but for my tastes, an 8 or 10" sub and good amp, speakers, and HU are more then enough, and as another positive, won't rattle the shit out of the car and make everything squeak!

neither of you guys have anything on the bangin' system I had in my first car.
6 pioneer speakers on (1) 4 channel amp and (2) 12" subs on another amp.
