i have half of the money already it's just hard to see 3k go!!
but MMMM boost! maybe after seeing jesses and vinces cars, it won't be so hard to spend the cash![popcorn]

SO Broc....I guess you want a yellow RS then?

btw here's this from my other thread

WELL I had an interesting day today......

first day on the job, he teaches me how to replace the wheel bearing hub and and all that (cause that's what needed to be done at the moment) so I helped him with that.

So I had to start at 3 since my school schedule now contains english on 4th period B day...... well he had to go pick up his kid at 3:30, so he told me to take the phone and charge of the shop (LOL @ only working there for half an hour and being the only one left there for about half an hour) (its cordless) and take out the trash while he was gone. I was called about 3 times but it was ok lol. took notes down. After I had the trash done I was wondering what I should do, so I noticed the "waiting room" was really really dirty, so I got the broom and started sweeping. he got back before I could finish, but he saw the dirt pile, looked in the room, and said "Whoa it's clean.....you're hired!" [hihi]

Hmm more experiences..... I had to move his truck for him, which was a big PITA because I had to back onto a busy street and it was the first time I'd even driven anything that big (big ol Chevy pickup, lol)

LOL THEN later on I had to move an F-150.... I got in and I'm like "OH great..... now I gotta drive a MANUAL truck lol. so second truck was manual.... no big deal but yeah lol I wasn't even used to a truck.)

On my way I peeled out really bad cause I was used to the truck. LOL. Gotta tell him that one cause right now he probably thinks I'm unsafe and all that kinda stuff.....

good news though, I'm keeping it, it's only 2:30 to 3:30 hours per day (depending on the schedule) and I SHOULD be there 3-4 days until I quit my other job and maybe it'll be 4-5 days. We have tons of cars, no place to put them.... lol.

edit: forgot that the Snap-On truck came by today...... DAMN if anyone's even been in that thing then they know what I'm talking about when I say that I've never seen so many tools in one place. LOL!

and for this post.... Jeff or whoever it was, who was talking about the Honda CBR... well this guy picked one up that needed a new headlight and windshield, all for the outrageous price of........$300 [thumb] pics in a bit, I don't think it would have been cool to take pics of his stuff on my first day.

snap on trucks are cool. you should buy some snap on jerky if your guy has it. what was his name anyways? wonder if its the same one that comes by my work once in a while.

as for the cbr, let me know if he wants to sell it.

^^ UH Brian or Chris I think. LOL.

i'm not sure about the bike...... he rides them but he very will may sell it. I THOUGHT I heard ~$600 so I dunno. LOL.

AH found a pic....I think lol. It looks just like this, IIRC (its a 91 but still) only the red is white, the white lettering is black, and the black is red..... lol.

Snap-on is WAAAAAAAYYYY to damn expensive. You should wait and see if a Matco truck swings by or maybe even the Cornwell truck. I am still a fan of Craftsman though. If a Craftsman breaks you take it to Sears and replace it that day if a tool truck tool breaks you gotta wait for the truck to arrive then if he doesn't have the tool in stock you gotta wait for him to get one.

^^ x2 LOL... I saw he had them and was just wondering why.... I mean yeah they're awesome but if they break you're screwed. Craftsman ftw at least for me... Break one no matter what at it is and sears will replace it, no charge.

Edit: btw anyone know how to get the headlight assembly out of a volvo S40? That SOB will not come out no matter what we do.... Wtf??

all i own mostly is craftsman. and that pic you put up is a cbr 1000 not a 600 which is probably the different color scheme. as for the headlight, just get a bigger hammer.

I don't doubt they will be a pain. But that's ok. I was looking at Capaldi Racing's website and it does say it requires cutting and welding. We'll have to see how it goes. I REALLY want to do the exterior conversion. Possibly interior as well.

wouldn't that be sweet? 4 boosted foci by spring?? we could go cruise and just crush so many cars!!! hahaha.
or just show up 4 strong at RMR for midnight drags. i think 4 boosted foci driving around town may stir up some unwanted attention. lol

check this out: smokin deal on sobe's at smiths. 39cents each if you buy them in groups of ten. i got six 12 packs which comes out to $31 even with tax. Did it twice and my mom bought me two so i got a total of 14- 12 packs LOL

Check out the gf's mom's new car. its so badass. it aint a ford, but its still fackin sweet. its a dark metallic grey with orange racing stripes and orange accented interior. and no she wont let me drive it, YET. she said to ask in a week. what kind of a chance would a 220ish focus have against that thing on the strip? probably not too good i would think, just wondering what you guys think.

they're phone pics so they kinda suck, but at least you can see it sort of

Damn that cars awesome.... And I didn't know you hated Sobe so much. LOL.

Ok and about the headlight on the volvo s80..... Well it was cracked anyway so he just stabbed the crap out of it with a screwdriver. Worked though [hihi]

Also I've decided as much as I am not happy with working at the theatre.... If I do the shop job 4 days a week and the theater job, then I ought to be getting around 800 a month, which ain't all that great but it's better than one.

Oh and jeff I forgot, I looked at his bike again today (got a pic) and it IS the CBR 1000F. At least I got the right bike. Lol.
