"I bought mine thinking it would hold some kind of "value". I'd be lucky if I could at least get my down payment back out of the thing."

But it was worth every penny

You know you drive an SVT when..... Even your mechanic cant find reverse.

You know you drive an SVT when..... A constant comlaint is a slug for throttle response.

You know you're driving an SVTF when...you pull into the dealship and you get more than one sales man approaching you

You know you're driving an SVTF when...you've been to the dealerhip to trade it in because its too damnd expensive to maintain.

You konw you're driving an SVTF when...you've searched 12 lots and nothing is as fun as you ol' buddy.

You know you're drining an SVTF when...you leave the dealship in the same car you came in because the dealership wouldn't raise the trade in value due to sentimental value.

you know you drive an svtf when your getting gas a someone walks all they way around it tryin to figure out what kind of car it is....probably been said already but it happened to me today.

your cars rattle? that sucks.
not internally...there is a heat shield on top of the catalitic converter. The CAT runs directly from the header back and up over the K-member. Thusley, the crank case has an indentation for the CAT to pass. The heat shield previously stated, for some reason eventually brakes off and rattles between the CAT and the Crank case. Thats the natorious rattle. Quick fix with stainless steel zip ties. or a new shield....Zip ties are cheaper, but as i like to say

M-I-C....K-E-Y......M-O-U-S-E!!!!

either way will fix it though.

you know you're driving an SVTF when...everyone makes a joke about a car you have in common and you take it way too seriously and then everyone else around you laughs at you becasue the statement was redundant and you just kept rambling about a topic that everyone already knows way too much about.

My brother's favorite thing to say to me is, "Hey Micah...Relax."
