I told you not to paint the white stripe in the first place. think about how many visual mods you've done that you thought would be a good idea despite the entire forum telling you it wouldnt be! the stripe and spoiler are the 2 most recent I can think of but I know theres been more!
stripe, tint and rims are all just things you want because they look cool
the xcal will make your car run better be better for your transmission and help you fuel economy why wouldn't you do that first?

yikes! what is the stock hp though? i mean......if the bike makes 50 hp a 10hp increase is pretty good....if the bike makes 120hp then a 10hp increase isnt nearly as impressive

107 stock. The 3-1 system does help shed some weight too, but I still don't see it being worth the loot. I'd be happier picking up 4-6 hp with slip ons and a re-map. Basicaly the gains I'd see simply tell me the bike is already in a pretty good state of tune and is operating very efficiently already.

bfh? i will have andrei's angle grinder/cutter thingy. it worked perfect taking off my old exhaust. maybe tonight after work im going to jack the car up, put it on stands. pb blast the bolts and see what condition they r in. hoping i can bolt them off since they r stainless steel and higher grade. il also have andreis impact wrench too.

OK, now we are a bike forum...haha. All I ever did to my Ninja was slip ons, Supertrapp, and a jet kit. I don't remember what the stock HP was, but I had a California bike and that really woke it up. Is yours fuel injected?

Mine is all custom, its not mandril after my hfc b/c I had a local shop do it for me. I wish i had just bought the borla exhaust but now im all not mandril and ill just deal with it for now. Its 2.5 with a hfc and 1 borla muffler on it.

E-gads! 107hp!!!! whats the total weight with rider? I imagine it must scoot pretty good!
but I'm sure you get used to any amount of power after a while eh?

BFH big effing hammer!
the problem with the borla system is its all slip-fit crimp connections and after you put it on the first time and tighten everything down enough to not get a leak the system really really hates to come apart! basically you have to wedge a flat-head screw driver inside each connection and beat the tar out of it to make it come loose!
I would bet any amount of money I could have my entire exhaust removed from my car and get a new cat welded in and have it hung back on the car in the amount of time it takes to remove a borla (without cutting anything)

I think 49 state 900s were in the 112-115 hp range, Dan. I'm guessing Cali models were slightly less ?

Yea, it's FI. They even have FI on all the Speedmasters and Bonnies now...it's clever, the throttle bodies are disguised to look like conventional carbs. They did a slick job on it. Still looks old school, but isn't.

okay i wont need a bfh right now, the exhaust is new, and i also spent too much money on it too. i didnt know steve still had some available. magnaflow will be cut off just before the second muffler where i previously had it welded. i dont want to cut through the flange part again. its only been on for a year but with our weathers who knows??
okay back to FOCUS (lol) back on class now

Bike weighs 368 dry...with my lard ass on it, oh 1,000 ? Figured I'd beat Kevin to it, because I know he's thinking it.

Yea it scoots along just fine. But it's no different than a car, always would like more more more.

didnt you see my post scotty?
you might try to remove the borla 5 minutes after installing it without even starting the car 1 time it will still be a bitch to un-install!

Throw it towards a complete detail ?
A full detail is not something his car needs lol!

Jeff:
top dash panel (gauge idea starter?)
some gauge pods
some fiberglass supplies
some brake parts

I was guesstimating about 600lbs before you posted but yeah theres no such thing as too much power!

Yeah my car is in good shape paintwise. The only issues with it need to be taken up with a body shop (ie hidden rust that I know about, huge scratch, egging damange(chipped paint)). Hmmm I need to figure it out soon.

Lol nice. My dad actually just purchased a low pro jack b/c he couldnt fit our jack under his bmw. Hmm, lol what I should do is get some nice heated seats for the lady. She is always cold and LOVED the heated seats in the lexus when I picked her up this winter in that thing.
