It wouldn't vent air at all....it would bring cooler air into the engine bay and help lower underhood temps.
I've always hated nonfunctional scoops. They are in the same category as nonfunctional spoilers and other various nonfunctional things.

I just noticed we need some more tags. And wow, i saw a guy in tech chat that was quoted 1200.00 for just replacing a head gasket...
I would do it for half, and do new tensioner, water pump, clean valve seats, new valve seals, and throw in a timing belt for free. I mean it took me 4 hours to completely tear down a 5.0HO to get the heads off and replace the head gaskets for a buddy. Its not to hard, the hardest part was getting to the head bolts with out taking the manifold off the collectors. I hate people that charge so much for something just because they can do it and you can't. Thus I live by: Treat people as you would want them to treat you.

Thats called "business". And your saying doesn't always hold true...almost never holds true actually. With most of us here it does though.
I treat my friends how I want to be treated....Steve getting the suspension put on for free, Jon getting his suspension and alignment and rotors turned and replace and oil change for free, Daniel getting his camber kit and alignment for free....but if I don't know you....you can bet your sweet ass I'm charging you. EGR/oil cooler and injectors for a some ladys husband that Jessica works with....$1500 baby! If I was good friends with him...easily a third of that.
But isn't that the whole point of learning a skill or trade...to charge someone for it that can't do it and didn't take the time to learn it?

True, I guess it all goes to the way I was raised. And more or less the same way my parents do their business. They charge a third of the price, get 10x the business, and voted number one in East tn.
I myself am striving to be wealthy, not rich. I would prefer doing at a somewhat reasonable and affordable price for the common person who doesn't have that kind of money to drop and needs to get to work the next day. I believe doing that reverts back to the oldest, and BEST advertisement... Word of Mouth. Not to be a hypocrite, If I can make a fast buck on something I will. But, I would rather give someone a dollar, than to take one from them.
The taylor swift video was awesome. I was so stoked when I seen it. Brings me to my next point. Evan, you wanna make a meet out of the next local swift concert, we can always get ken to come down. lol. But im going to bed, peace yall.

Thats the cool thing about working diesel...I charge way less than the dealer. The $1500 I'm charging him would be over $3300 at the dealer. I did some diag, a reflash, and in addition to the coolers/injectors, I'm also replacing all the glow plugs....which usually means that you have to pull the vave covers off to get the glow plug harness off. Oh and I gave him my employee discount on all the parts. I'm hoping word of mount spreads as well.
Does that mean you're not going to say how much you paid or how you got it?

Evan , quick question for you. Front endlinks what size is that allen head screw, 7mm ? and a 15MM wrench to hold the nut ?
I've got a set of Moog endlinks to replace my stockers .
Danielle, that hood looks cool as hell on the FOFO . That's why I've broke down and getting 1 made for my FOFO out of Artic Silver carbon fiber to hopefully come close to matching my Silver FOFO.
