is it really going to take you a week to get the hood painted?
I know a couple places around here that can do BETTER than oem job painting and they usually have a 1 day turn around on single body panels or my roush skirts [
]take it off monday night
drop it off tuesday morning
pick it up wednesday
install it wednesday night
granted they wouldnt do it for $100 but I'll bet the paint quality is better and it would work out being cheaper than renting a car......
No not a week, did I say that? A guy I know is going to do it at cost, but if you know a guy that can do it for 165 let me know (that's what I've got to pay for the paint and rental)! just painting the sides and leaving the center red like your old hood correct?
I'm pretty sure my place will do it for around $165 and they will definately have a 1 day turn around if you call and schedule it
my sideskirts where $150 each and I figure one of those is probably the same amount of supplies as your hood?
Ultimately, I want it to look like the craigslist hood but ED messed up when they made it and there are two palm prints in the center of the hood from someone picking it up too soon. You can’t see it unless the lighting is just right, but it still sucks… I tried to get another one, but no luck. So what I’m saying is that I’m debating painting the whole thing. I don’t know, back to thinking.
paint the entire thing and just leave the 2 thin hood bulge strips CF as in just that little trapazoidal area where the fender bulges up
thats what I'm planning if/when I have the scratch for a CF hood

I got the idea from those stick on stripe things you can buy off ebay for your hood
You should just buy a bunch of stickers and put them all over your hood. Looks + HP. Who can compare with that?
I dont think he's ready for that sort of HP increase I mean you should be able to fit at least 100 stickers on a hood........so your looking at a 1000hp increase!?!?!? on a focus thats just re-dick
Yup yup, wasting time after class/before work. Today is even worse, no second class today, got out of first class at 10:30, don't work till 6. Don't feel like driving home to just drive back later.
