Sorry I've kinda dropped off the face of the earth guys, I'm just not feeling focusey lately and school owns my soul. I should be studying now but oh well.

I'm excited today because my parents have been taking my little brother around car shopping and asked me to help them out. Everything I've suggested and we have found so far has had ONE problem with it (car needs to be perfect for mom cause she's picky as all getout) and it was always a no-go but we finally found something that everyone has fallen in love with and looks promising.
It was a car I suggested earlier and was written off, but they looked at it again and decided to give it a try, a '91 MR2 hardtop. Apparently it drives like nuts and is in great shape with some cool stuff on it. 60,000 mi on the J-spec engine that was swapped after the old one went out I guess. Didn't get to talk to the guy personally cause I didn't go to look at it, but looks like a 3s-fe 2.0L N/A... I have to do more research to see if we can get parts for it. They're gonna carfax and check on a bunch of other stuff and I need to talk to the guy personally to get some more info on it but it looks great and everyone said it looked well taken care of and in awesome shape. Guy seems pretty firm at 4.5k but we're not done playing yet.
And yes, little bro is more responsible than me and he's going to learn from THE MASTER about how to control snap oversteer ([rofl]) so I'm not worried at all about him in this. Hope it works out cause I think it would be a great car.

I was really close to buying one of them before I got the 06, the one I was looking at was a friends who put the JDM TURBO engine in it. Its a crazy car to drive and the best part about it was the turbo sat right by your head (low seating) and when it spools it SCREAMED. Its sitting on Eibach prokit springs and KYB AGX shocks, has performance bushings and larger sway bars. There was no way for me buy it and get rid of my SPI.

Even though I'll be pretty jealous if he gets this car, I'll be happy for him. And no I wouldn't sell the focus, this way I get to play with a MR2 and a focus. [hihi]
I'm definitely not in the market for a new ride although if I was, that would probably be it.

WOW I hope he can get it. Welcome Back Dan... While you were out I was very Close to buying an 02 WRX (built autocross beast), I had cash in hand was was ready to pick it up. Then I found the motor was swapped and had more miles then the car body.
I hope the MR2 was swapped properly.
