I hate our state tint laws. I don't want to do just the back 3 because it looks stupid, but I don't want to risk getting pulled over for tint in the front either.

lmao nice! Do the back three dark but not limo and it should look fine. I'm just going to put like 30% on my back three and call it good. Should set the car off quite nicely with the wheels I haven't picked out yet!

I have 30% tint all around and haven't been hassled yet. I think a lot depends on how you drive your car. Drive it like an idiot a good percentage of the time, you're going to draw attention to yourself, and tint all around is a simple thing to get nailed for. Just my 2 cents.
I agree though that tinting just the back on a 3 door would look much better than just doing the back 3 on a sedan.

I am pretty much the only screamin yellow svt that is involved in the car scene in Grand Rapids. There's a couple others driving around but I never see them at any events. And when summer is around...kinda hard to miss me with the carbon hood on.

Yea, when I say cops stare me down as I drive by...I'm not messin around! They all keep a VERY close watch on my car for w/e reason. Makes me want to paint it a different color!
I think its the combination of the bright yellow, sporty wheels/stance. The exhaust note doesn't help. And when they see my young self driving it...they say hey lets pull over junior driving Daddies car as soon as he makes a mistake.

Until I bought my ST in Nov. 04 I'd never owned a red car. Ever. I got two tickets with that in the first 6 months of ownership, one for 5 over (30 in a 25). I didn't drive that car like a jack-ass, but I'm confident it was the color that caught cop's eyes, so maybe there's something to that theory, who knows. I hadn't had a ticket in over 6 years prior to the 5 over one, and my driving habits/style hadn't change any.
I do know that unless it has a prancing horse on the nose of it, I'll never have another bright red car.

That was a demo I was in, Silver Impreza..lol
Forgot about that one, but that was after the other tickets in the Focus.
