matt il let u know about the suspension when i get back to michigan (about 2 week), now until next tuesday i won't be on here because ill be in spain :)
also once i get back ill know how much money i can blow on crap. thats the good thing about being young. whatever i make or get i can spend it on whatever i like. in 1-2yrs time then yes ill seriously stop wasting money but until then im going to have some fun and no one is going to stop me

my problem insnt not being able to afford the jrsc its do i want the jrsc or do i want all of this stuff:
wheels/tires/h&r sway bars/mach hid headlights again/HID kit/niteshade turnsignals/paint trim (getting done anyways)
basically its a show vs go debate but the focus is already quicker than most so thats why i'm leaning towards starting to make it look nice instead!

Jeff are you going to do anything with your body kit stuff?

That's a great attitude for someone who does not know the value of money. A spoiled brat. More and more of your posts show that you dont care about money, you are self centered. You don't want to move, and told your parents, NO? but you now find it okay because you get a bigger room, a spot in the garage, and your own bathroom.

Scott, you should listen to some of the older people and save some money. You are going to blow your load on mods for the car, what are you going to do when your trans goes? Be hard up, not have a car to get to your job, borrow your mommies? Save your money, learn to do things on your own, not car stuff, but cook something besides throw it in the microwave, basic maintenance, clean, do your own laundry, the basics of life. So you can afford to move out in the future and fend for yourself. Know your limits, and do not exceed them.
 
hey all im gettin my A/C fixed thursday hopefully and i bought the steeda focus header 4-2-1 for two things one my 91 escort GT had it and was a fast rev and 8000rpm car and it had 4-2-1 header on it and second the svtf has it and it also have good rep so those are my reasons on it.
I dont know where you got your information from but i've always heard the header on the svt focus was made by cosworth. Yes it's a 4-2-1 design but it's absolutely NOTHING like the header steeda shows on their website. Also, if you're going to spend $390 on a header that doesn't come with a flex pipe you might as well not buy that steeda thing and just buy the full svt conversion for $500. OR $450 on the focus sport header/flex combo. If you're going to spend $500 why not buy the best? I dont think any focus header is worth $390 alone. If you're not making big power with a supercharger then why waste your money. You wont notice a difference. That's such waste. Buy an ebay header and be done with it

we are....its a long story. Basically, the house belongs to a couple in our church. He just retired from GM and is going back to school...in Missouri. The house was originally for sale, but they are taking it off the market. soooo, I have to pay utilities and less than what I'm paying for the apartment for rent with the option to buy. :) They are going to be out there for 4 years minimum and if by some chance he ends up at a church back here, we'll talk. I only have 3 years left on my contract anyway.
 
sounds like an awesome deal Matt. When is the contract up at the apartment?

I wish I could land something like that. Are you thinking of changing churches when you are done with your contract or going to try and stay with them?

$450 for a ceramic coated svt header with the EGR bung welded in and all the goodies needed to do it right. it'll be shiny and pretty, droolworthy, and will reduce ambient engine temps.

Of course, you'll still need a svt flex and cat. Buy'em used.

SVT headers are generally regarded on the forums as the best you can get for the zetec.
 
You can get the svt header NEW for less than $250 and it comes with the egr bung on it, revised egr tube, power steering line, shield, etc. The coated kit can be had for like $350 new. The svt Flex is like $130 new, and the svt cat is like $180 new.

All i was saying is that i wouldn't spend $390 on a header and still have to buy my own flex for $100. If that was the case i'd just go for what is regarded as the best setup for the zetec focus.
 
lets see....

i payed $190 for my cat.
another $60 for a SS flex
$250 for my headers
and $220 for the y-pipe.

so thats.......
$770.

if you want the best you gotta be ready to give up the dough.

so just get the best you can and be done with it, then you won't be going back later to get a new header. unless you go with a turbo of course.
