How do you know they are the shit ?

Did you dyno test your car before and after the install ?

Did you do any current draw tests before and after the install ?

Butt dyno does not vaildate a mod as 'the shit.'

I'm happy with my Sun Auto Hyper Ground. I think they are high quailty. HOWEVER, if I had it to do all over again, I'd buy the ones "microtonal" located. They look like good quailty as well and lets face it, there are no moving parts and if the copper is good quailty, and the wire covers can withstand engine compartment heat........well, that is all you really need.
BTW Anyone else try the Hyper Voltage System or a similar product?

This post is old but I found very interesting and would not have beleived the hype had it not been in Car Audio Mag. So I took the poor mans approach and went down to Home Depot, picked up 10 feet of number 4 wire, not 4 gauge but number 4 its the same size that comes on the car. I also picked up some shrink wrap and copper lugs. Stripped the cable back 1/4 inch placed the lug and and smacked it with the hammer, then i used the heat shrink to keep it clean, just like these $115 dollar cables. I ran a ground from battery to coil, battery to block and block to chasis. We shall see what happens, oh and i sent $12 and 1 hour of time. Much better than $115. I figure I just paid myself $103 for one hour of work.

I just Installed a hyper ground system on my 04 SVT. And I would have to agree with bluebisz and say I was pleasantly surprised with the peformance gains. Seems crazy though my car is practicly new and I would think the new wiring in the car would have a suff. ground. Also I noticed my LCD displays on my radio and my odometer dont flicker as bad as before ground system was Installed. Also dome and map lights are brighter than before. I would have to say well worth the money. Note that the sun automobile hyper ground system uses some high quality materials in their kits. A 99.99 percent pure copper core wire insulated. Then a braided sheilding. Then a thick clear outer insulation built to survive the heat. With ultra conductive eyelet connectors with a nice heatshrinked tube. Might be tough to duplicate these results using a lesser quality scoche wallmart stereo cable. Available in gold, silver, blue, red, yellow, smoke at WWW.RACINGLAB.COM [thumb]

You Can Get The SUN AUTOMOBILE HYPERGROUND SYSTEM At WWW.RACINGLAB.COM For 115.00. You Might Want To Check Out The HYPER VOLTAGE SYSTEM As Well. The only way you'll get 16 hp from a grounding kit is if you had some serious problems to begin with.

be advised, all of you guys going out to buy wires and make yours, its not the same. the trick with grounding is to have the best conductivity, and these wires being a claimed 99.99% pure copper are what helps the most. getting wire and connectors from home depot wont be the same. that wire is a metal alloy thats mostly copper, not near as conductive as the hyper ground system. if you dont belive me get out some wiggies and test it yourself.

essveetee It seems that you are doubting the potency of the HYPER GROUND SYSTEM.[paranoid] According to your Mods. list you Show an 8 Ga. Grounding Kit. Im not Saying My 04 SVT Gained 16 Horsepower From The HYPER GROUND SYSTEM. But I think Possibly 6-10 H.P. I Feel The Difference In a Big Way. More so Than The Magnaflow Exh. Much like An U.D.P. Without Voiding Your Powertrain Warranty. And Its Way Cheaper Then a Catback System. Did You Have Similar Results From Your 8 ga. Grounding Kit ??? It Would Be Interesting To Do a Back 2 Back Dyno Comparison To See If Its True That Some Times You Get What You Pay For[:D]
