Well, after all the mods you've put on your car:

  • Full Exhaust
  • Marcy Motors CAI
  • SCT Xcalibrator2
  • CFM 67mm TB
  • BS delete
  • 75 shot
  • Eibach Sportline's
  • Speedy Lite 5's
  • Steeda Short throw
  • Strut bar

You should be very worried if you weren't going door-to-door with that SS/SC.

And don't forget, if he is in fact boosting more, SS/SC's are doing it on a much smaller engine. And that's the remarkable thing about the Supercharged Cobalt, that they are getting 240hp stock at the crank on a 2.0L engine.

WOW!

... and my SS/SC never has a bottle that could "become empty/run out of" of at any given time. The supercharger "stays full" all of the time! LOL

So the SS/SC must not have been "boosting more" then. His buddy is probably just messing with him.

But if he's hanging with an SS/SC that's being driven by someone who knows how to drive, then his car is turning mid 14" 1/4's and is pulling low 6" 0-60.

I believe it has something to do with the brake and clutch using the same res.

I remember seeing something on it a while back. But yeah its normal.

45K isn't that much as long as you have been keeping up with the maintainance. BOltons would still do you good right now. I don't know what condition your clutch is in but you can easilly mod your car still.

Ford badge?

When I washed my car today, I noticed one of the Ford badges on the stock wheels is missing...now the wheel looks ugly..damn..How much does that thing cost? Is it covered under bumper-bumper warranty?[???:)]

Because he's asked me if I had a flathead screw driver one day I said yeah and next thing I know he's at my wheel trying to peal it off. Now every time I see him, he threatens to take them. One day he's probably going to.

not sure, but what year do you have? The 06 is very limited in suspension options compared to previous foci models

man i am really starting to get pissed about this air intake shit.....hey duff..how hot does it get where your at and have you ever experienced any kind of heat soak(bogging) with your sri?...mine will be here on monday and im not sure if i want to swap it out with my typhoon.
