Wow, i'm really confused on your question. If you don't have the leds, how do you get HID?

 

u dont need the lil led lights to have hid. lol. hid's are for ur regular lights(low and high beam). u can pick up a set over on ebay. most likely u need a h1 bulb.

cuz i need to see better 420 but yeah i mean i know i dont need the led's on the lamp to have the hid do i just need that chip thing that comes with the HID setup? and thats it?

 

I'm assuming by "chip" you mean ballasts?

You would need an upgrade kit, which consists of 2 ballasts, 2 bulbs, wiring, etc.

how difficult is it to install?

 

it isnt hard to install at all. everything is pretty much plug and play. ive put them in my car and my g/f's car. i hope i didnt come off as an ass with my previous post. lol.

 

kits are pretty much just plug and play . . . about 20-30 minutes
