I've got a 2001 Focus ZX3.....basically here's what's going to happen.

I want 2 sets of these for the front doors and backseat.

As for my subs, I was looking into getting 2 of these.

So here's my question. I have no idea what to do about an amp. I want to stay in the Kicker family, but I don't know if it will fit my budget of $500.

Here's what I think will work, keep in mind I have no clue what to do as far as amps go.

Will that amp power the entire system of 4 speakers and 2 subs? Will it be loud enough?

NO

its a 4 channel... that 4 channel will only power the interior speakers

for the subs, you need an amp that pushes out 300 watts rms(150 a channel if a 2 channel)

4 channel amps are only usuially only good for inerior speakers... sure, you COULD use that 4 channel to power the subs, but it would only put out 100 watts rms to the subs, so you would be short by about 50 watts a sub, and you interior speakers wouldnt go through it at all them

Although both correct that amp will blow your speakers. And to answer the question that you asked at first about how loud, not very loud at all.

I would get a decent HU to run the drivers since the ones you have listed have relativly low power needs, and find a good 2 channel amp and bridge it for the subs.

When it comes to audio you get what you pay for.

gte a GOOD 10" or 12" sub (I HIGHLY recommend Dayton HO Line). build a propper box. (totally air tight, sealed, heavy construction)
get a decent set of component speakers for the front (I HIGHLY recoment CDT), DONT RUN REAR SPEAKERS, they f' up your sound stage
find a good, cheap amp. lightly used is usually your best bet.

BOSS is garbage
Lightning audio is GARBAGE
Dual... garbage

$400 is a very LOW budget for a system like this.
Wiring, fusing, o-ring terminals will likely run you at least $60

for Subwoofer (just ONE of these will kill those kickers)

for main speakers

as for a subwoofer amp
GO CLASS-D MONO-BLOCK!
you wont regret it. find something used. if you can find an Xtant 301a you're GOLDEN. old school xtant are some of the best amps EVER on the market. US Amps are also the creme of the crop. nobody cars if they're used. new stuff is made like garbage these days anyhow. Other brands I'd recommend, LJ, Apline, Directed Electronics, PPI.

forget about amping your main speakers until you have more money. you'll be cutting yourself short if you don't.

*edit*
o, and BTW. for wiring etc, I'd suggest http://www.knukonceptz.com/ a 4-awg amp kit will run you a little over $30 w/ shipping. I've used their products and I've been nothing but happy with them.

i agree with deagle ...

also rear fill isnt nesscary.. its just an added option ... ideally if u want better sq .. spending more money on ... front stage is what u listen to .. and thats whats most important how the system seems to you ..
