So I picked up an 03 grey faced guage cluster with the red guage needles.
My 02 has the black face and the orange needles. I've hated the orange needles from the start. Anywho, I have the grey leather interior with the Ford accessory brushed aluminum door handles. The car came with the brushed aluminum HVAC/radio bezel.
At first, I bought the 03 cluster just for the needles, but now I'm thinking the grey cluster face would be a good addition. That being said, The red needles on the black guage cluster would be cool too, and it would be easier to match guages should I ever have the fortune to add a guage pillar.
What would you do?

I personally like the look of having all the gauges match. For me, I'll probably have to go with a white faced gauge when I do get my accessory ones that I want. I actually got the grey face gauges (came with my 2001 S2 edition package) as well as the red needles (which look way way better).

I guess it's a personal choice. It will be hard to match up the grey gauge face. If you are planning pillar gauges, then maybe hold off on the grey face and see what's all out there.

Yeah, I got the same thing going for me. Not a HUGE fan of the white gauge face but the auxilary gauges I was thinking of getting have the white face. Ahhhhh decisions decisions.... [;)]

Yeah the needles pull right off Ash, that or you can use a needle puller tool but if you are careful enough you don't need that. Actually a butter knife works perfectly, you just twist it from the center so that it applied pressure directly on the needle where it attached to the 'pin' for the gauge and it'll pop off no problem. Just be careful not to scratch your gauge face with the knife. Works awesome. Most of the good gauge face kits come with a needle puller, they used to anyway.
