A guy on Facebook SVT has adapted the wiring plug so a VW solenoid will work. I'll try to find the thread and get back to you.

 

Intermotor VV1092 solenoid. You have to grind the right mounting ear off. You also need to slot the other mounting hole and use a washer on the bolt. The connector is a YCLN. 1J0973702. 2005-2013 2.0 Jetta, golf.

They were dealer only when new. If you haven't already got one... they're still in stock but you'll have to do a lot of digging and they're $pendy.

How does the wiring work with the new connector the black wires are on two different sides on the svt vs the vw solenoid
