I would say that 35% is a good number on any car, imho.

You might also want to check your local laws to see what is legal and what isn't.

 

Tinting

LLumar Formula 1, Pinnacle Series.
5% moonroof, 15% hatch & sides and 35% windshield.

 

Llumar tint on my Ingot Silver SE. At the max in VA: 35% rears and 50% fronts.

 

I always prefer 5% on any car because that way your interior won't get too hot and it looks good when no one can see in

 

If I did it again. Keep front at 30%, back windows and rear windshield 20%. 5% windshield strip.

 

35% front 20% rear on my ingot silver. I had 50% front before and it was too light.

 

You CAN NOT tint you front windows in CA. And cops will bust you and write a "Fix-it" ticket.

 

I decided to go for 35 % front and 20 % back. I think it looks great.

 

35 is great if you don't want any trouble. My car came with 50 and I like it, very subtle and keeps the heat down.
