God honest truth if it MUST be euro the first one. I feel like the C-F-M one looks like a cheap garden mesh almost.

I am still very fond of the SVT but i like to step outside the box a little.

OHMIGAWD, that post above me is pure genius!

(And I agree with it. However, I also agree with the OEM-look clear grille suggested above by SmokeFocus - much easier front-signal solution, not to mention of course that the upper and lower grilles will continue to match.)

BTW, I got a ridiculously amazing deal on a brand-new ST170 grille from the UK about a month ago (WELL under $100 shipped) via ebay, already painted silver and everything (granted, Moondust Silver ain't quite a CD Silver match...).

Just checked - there are two on ebay UK right now (neither are any kind of blue, however, but the black one looks like it may go CHEAP).

I just thought of something... I still have my amber side markers. So I could probably find a way to smoke those a little and put them behind the euro grille where you can't see them. Unless (until) I get my chrome facelift Euro headlights with the integrated signals, that would work just fine as a substitute. Anyone know where I can get the sockets for the wedge bulbs really cheap, or would I have to go to Mike for a pair?

 

Oooh - chrome facelift lights with that blue color and ST170 grill would just be KILLER!

Meanwhile, I have the same issue: mount side markers behind the grille (which I fear would show through too much with that wide honeycomb), or just wait until I get proper lights....

 

the ST170 grille is exactly the same as the regular euro except the outside edge is color matched

the 98 grilles i don't like on his car because the mesh is too small

the clear ones also don't go with his car's european look to it, the horizontal grille bars just don't do it for me

and negative on the smoked svt snacky, nothing on the entire car is smoked or honeycombed
