most underglow is ricey imo.. ive seen some white lights setup that look pretty nice.

 

Me i think its up to the individual, me personally i will probably get one but only the one that syncs to my radio

i was contemplating of having an underglow that only turns on when i open the door at night.. i live in the hood where most of our streetlights are shot out lol

 

I was going to post that "security" underglow (mainly white) is the only legitimate application as far as I'm concerned. Everything else is stupid.

 

I think it'd be neat to get a LED bar and mount it under the rear bumper. So when driving, it mimics the brake, turns signals, but projects the light onto the ground underneath the bumper. IDK that is one way that it might be cool...

 

Interesting idea. Might look pretty cool and useful. Unfortunately alot of states it is illegal to have red or blue underglow.

lol im somewhat known in the area so my car is pretty safe from theft *knocks on wood* but geeze the the darkness and rats are another threat lol i too wanted a white glow

LEDs on anything that aren't used as DRLs, headlights, tail lights or CHMSL lights are stupid.

Underglow?

Its illegal for starters, pretty distracting, very rice, and it just looks bad.

 

I'm 20 and I think ground effects lights are dumb. The only time I've ever liked them on a car is on a dark blue 57 Chevy I saw at a show once. The lights were arranged such that it looked kind of like an american flag. It wasn't a donk either; the owner was just patriotic, a veteran as I recall.

if you really wanted to do it, I say go with white LEDs but I personally would not do it.

 

Just Cheap, Never classy. However, it is your car to do as you see fit. We can have a good laugh later...... I remember in the mid 70's it was all about pin striping. You should have seen my car, it was SOOOOO bad, (not in a cool way). Oh and the shag carpet too... I have to laugh about it now.

Having underbody lighting for puddle lamps doesn't look too bad and can be kinda cool in the right setting. It's also helpful when you have to work under the car or at night. Just don't drive down the street with them on. That's cheese.

It looks quite awful, and that's no Camaro, its a Firebird, but I guess knowing what it is doesn't really make it any better.

 

Yeah, I'm not a fan of the lights on it or the fact hes got 20" rims.

 

I like the idea of them beingu puddle lights. Don't want them to stay on while I'm driving.

 

I don't think I would ever put underglows on my vehicle, but im not entirely opposed to it on other people's vehicles...

 

Completely illegal in Wisconsin.
I have not seen a car with underglow in many years around here.
Even if they only were turnsignal or brake related, I bet you would be in court fighting it.
