I have been kicking around the idea of making Turbo parts for the Focus Zetec engine. I have all my templates for the piping and in my opinion is by far the best layout for piping on the Focus , So here is what you would get

SPA Cast Manifold
Intercooler to maintain cooling 300HP
2.5 Inch Downpipe
Waste gate downpipe
Piping from turbo to intercooler
Piping from intercooler to MAF
3 inch MAF tube
Piping from MAF tube to throttle body

The manifold and piping seems to be the hardest part for the Avg Joe to do so this should help a lot with thise wanting to do most of it them self

Yes im still going to Mexico but I have a welder that can weld the cheeks of your butt and not blister either side , he is as good as I am in every way maybe better and my welds are very small and clean as many have seen, I am keeping the machine shop with the CNC machines because it is very good income and the guy now running it has bought into the Co. so he now has a steak in it and will be more aware of whats going on, I will make about 10 of these before I leave so he understands what needs to be done IF there is any intrust in it

This would be for the ZX3 or SVT , Both the same price

I was thinking in the 1475.00 range , any thoughts

WOW, Im loving that Idea! Aside from a turbo and a tune, its good to go. I've been looking at turbo kits for the zetec for the future, and theyre all rather expensive!

That would be awesome. How soon were you looking at doing this?

i am really liking the idea, except im missing a turbo and tuning...

Things that would need to be added to make a complete kit

Hoses & Clamps
Turbo & Waste gate (external only)
Oil psi hose & drain back hose and fittings
Tune ( I can remote tune it for 450.00)
Injectors
Bolts , washers
Oil pan with turbo drain back ( I may offer this as well exchange for 40.00 )
MAFia

Turbos I feel should be bought new , I still like theTurbonetics T3 S60 STGIII , buy it new and it comes with an unconditional 1 year warranty

The rest of the stuff can be bought from turbo stores or ebay and easy and cheap to get depending on the quality of parts you want

I can start making these as soon as there is enough intrust shown or deposits

Hey Tom This sounds like a great deal and thanks again for tuning my Focus :) but NA_built if Tom cant make you a tubular mani I can for you.

Remote timing works like this , I send you a tune , you install it and get me a log of things I ask for at idle then when that is right we move on to part throttle and cruise adjustments then we go to making boost settings when that is finished and is safe then if you choose to you will go to a dyno and I will be standing by to make any changes that is needed or give you a copy of the file and let your dyno tune make the small changes left to do

i think the remote tuning he is talking about is you getting on a dyno and do a pull and then you send all the info to him he changes some stuff and send a new tune back you dao another pull abd see if its good. I think thats how it goes

I think it would be a great deal for anyone wanting to go turbo, after all you are supplying all the hard to get stuff and the rest is easy.

Exactly , And from everyone I talked to that gave up on turbocharging there Focus this was the main reason why they did because the down pipe and piping was to costly and to hard to get made

I can cure that with this DIY kit , Now are people willing to buy it ?

wow... that is a great F'n deal. Now i gotta consider turbo instead of procharging it... dangit lol
