Im thinking of replacing the passenger side motor mount in my ford focus by myself to save some money. Im not a mechanic, and pretty novice, but it seems pretty simple enough. Should I attempt this?
pretty easy..... put a jack with a piece of wood (to distribute weight) under the motor and jack it just enough to keep the motor from dropping. Remove the 8mm bolt from the coolant tank and remove the clip on the other side and move it out of the way. Then remove the 5 bolts (I think 5). pretty straight forward.
