The Shudder is back!

Well, it's been two years since I first posted about the shudder. (Shudder-stutter at low speeds.) I got the second clutch installed on my 2012 SEL in October and things have been fine...until last week. But now The Shudder (it deserves capitalization) is back. I have an appointment with the dealer on Monday. He said "oh, I think there's a new, new, new one." But they have to do the same old computer reprogram, blah, blah, blah before they can install a new, new, new clutch. Meanwhile, I'm at 75k miles and the extended warranty to address this issue expires at 100k. I called Ford and they are NOT interested in buying back this piece of junk. Thinking of starting a Shudderers Club. I don't think I have any other options. Message me for club meet-up locations.[:)]

It's funny you mention that it's back. I'm on my second clutch seals/assembly/whatever they replaced, and as of last week, I've noticed some very minor hesitation again.

Car is at that spot where it's just sporadic and minor enough to not bother me, but concern me since I've already experienced shuddering once before.

I am driving on my second clutch replacement and trying to avoid a third. I drive in D and S on alternate days. In S it revs higher and holds gears longer. On the D days it drives smoother then when I drive in D every day. Maybe I am doing my own modification of a clutch scrub :)

Did you guys do snorkel delete mod? I know it sounds crazy but my DCT shifted better after this mod and while I only had minor shudder, it went away completely as well as engine felt more responsive.
