what is the easiest way to get the swirl marks out ?

Black IMO, is the hardest to get swirls out. I recommend a D/A with a foam cutting pad followed by a foam finishing pad. While wool pads generally cut better, the foam will generally cause less swirls. I use Presta Ultra cutting creme light withe the cutting pad, and then some Presta Ultra Gloss with the finishing pad. Looks immaculate when done properly. Be sure to tape off any plastic molding before using the D/A!

Thanks,
Randy

I have a Porter Cable 7424 polisher. I use foam pads to apply the products (Meguiars NXT line and Meguiars Professional line), and use microfiber pads to remove it.

My Sonic Blue SVT had some swirls in it, but most were taken out with one application of Meguiars NXT. It even got out the marks I put in it with an ice scraper from winter. I would have done more another coat of NXT (taken out more of the scratches/swirls), but it was getting late.

Black really looks nice because it matches like anything, but the problem with black is indeed the swirls.. :\

Yeah I would say a mild polish would get out most if not all swirl marks... I know it worked for me at least.

Randy, are those your pics or off Autopia? Cause man that's some before and after!

And oh, since TwiBlue was so RUDELY forgotten on the Poll, I added and voted for it[;)] (It seems the only colors listed are from 05, but still...)

I personally like to detail black best.
You can notice the results the most:)

For now I am using Einszett, but have been working on a couple of products for the last 18 months.
It will be at least 6 months before it is released and maybe more.
I realize there are a lot of company's that will release a product after a week of testing, however, I have to believe in what I sell and I only sell what I use, so this with bee what I use after I sell out of the 1Z products:)

Yeah, I think you should just get a new paint job. It usually makes a car look new!
not always... it matters on what color your car is...

paint jobs are good and bad, they cost a lot of money.. and if u get a cheap job or a decent priced one... u still can get a crappy paint job.

It depends on what color your car is... like black and the darker colors are the hardest to paint.

u should see ppls work for the cars before you get it painted from there... its probably gonna cost u about 3-4 grand... and if u want a good one.. it would probably cost u more than a used focus... lol so its up to u.
