I searched and could not find my answer so here it goes:

I recently bought an 04 SVT and the foglights will not come on using the headlamp switch. I checked the fuse, swapped relay positions and none of that worked. What does make them work is fooling with the turn signal/highbeam switch and hold it in the middle position, they stay on for that moment. I am at a loss and just want them to work. I bought a headlamp switch to try and it did nothing. Any ideas would be great.

Yes the high beams work. My question is how does that switch work? When I pull it all the way back, should it stay locked like other vehicles I have had? How hard is it to replace that switch?
