You might have to bring it in to a Ford dealership. I know that my parents GM vehicle did that after the power was reset-ed. Its like a security feature. If you don't know the code then you can't use it. It keeps saying ERROR. Call a dealership, they might be able to help you out or just get a cool new deck.

UM.... ive NEVER heard of a focus having a radio code.. EVER... the only one that might is the balupunkt unit, which i doubt he has..

ive taken my stock radio out a billion times, and i gave it away to a friend, they use it every day, and its never said EE

i doubt it needs a code...

did it start giving you an error right after the new battery?

you aren't going to have a code that is not only GM specific, but specific to radio units that were made by AC Delco. you are having some sort of functional error. you may need to take it to the dealer, as it has nothing to do with a theft lockout code. the automated number for the GM lockout codes is readily available on line, so don't go to the dealer because they will charge you for something you can do on your cell phone sitting in your driveway.
