Steering wheel controls and Sony HU ....will Connects2 work?

email the company that makes the PAC SWI-X and ask about the compatability. it says it doesn't support the cdx-m9005 but doesn't specifically say it doesn't support the cdx-m9000.

if that doesn't work, maybe give deliMawi a PM for his advice. he seems like he knows what he is talking about and then some as seen here http://www.focusfanatics.com/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=19768 .

Autoleads make an adapter:

FORD FOCUS stalk adaptor for Sony (PC9-107) http://www.caraudiocentre.co.uk/product.asp?product=20028

It plugs in the rear of the unit instead of the optional RM-X4S. I've just installed a CDX-F7700 in my wife's car and it works fine with that. The only difference from the stock unit is that the track +/- on the steering controls are the other way around.

I noticed that all the sites selling the adapter are from the UK. I dont mind paying the extra for shipping, but will same adapter work for US cars? Do you know of any other sites that sell the adapter?

Being based in the UK, the only places I know of are in the UK. Have you tried a search on google?

I also have no experience of US cars - is it likely that Ford would wire up the US steering controls differently to the UK?
