the other day i saw a video of a mustang with a cummins in it, i think someone should do something even more insane and do it to a focus.

I had that idea when I had my focus shell. You would have to go with a 4BT unless you do some serious modifications to the front end of the car to support the weight and lenght of the 6BT or ISB Cummins engine. I love the ISB Cummins thats in my truck, but the motor and transmission weigh in at almost 2000 pounds, with the motor being 1100 pounds dry weight.
Plain and simple, it won't fit.
Nearest I can find the 4BT is roughly 34" square.
vs a 302 which is about 27" x 20".
That is unless you dry sump it, which is very uncommon in the diesel world apart from full on race trucks.

Well I never looked into it that much, to actually get dimensions. Plus, I already crushed the shell I had. It still a cool idea though.
