Now here is a few questions:

I have an fswerks cool flo cai. Paid and installed by yours truly. :)

This is were the questions come into play.
I received (unknowingly) a magnaflow catback exhaust, from my dad this past christmas. I had plans for the fswerks race exhaust, but im not one to reject a gift someone spent 400 on.

Does anyone know the size of the piping on this system? I'm assuming its 2.25.

I'm planning on buying Obx headers, would this work with a cat back? (just remove the Cat right?)

OR would it be better performance wise to go with the fs exhaust?
I.E. I would much rather use the magnaflow.

If I do use the magnaflow would you recommend a different header? Ive got a pretty decent job so im willing to spend the money if its worth it.

I know this post is super scattered, but ide really appreciate anybody giving me some info.

The obx will work with the system , theres 2 cats , one in the manifold , and a 2nd a little further down . The header will delete your manicat , and the catback you have "should" delete the 2nd . If you dont know yet , you will need a tune after the header , to remove a cel , and to optimize power

Appreciate the info man, just what I was looking for.

That brings up my second batch of questions.

So to tune a car, you need an ECU flasher right?

When someone tunes your car do they have to do it in person, or do you purchase the codes, which are sent to you to download?

Last but not least, I just moved to Southern California, and I heard one of the fswerks guys does tunes. so that would probably be my best option considering my location right?

Yea that is actually one of the best possible situations actually . Contact randy at fswerks , if i lived that close id definatly be going to thier shop.

And yea you will get a flasher , with a tune preloaded . But you can datalog for a better tune later on

I'd keep your magnaflow. There won't be a noticeable difference between the two

local tuning is best but there is still the option of remote tuning.

So I have absolutely noooo experience with tuning. :) Do i have to buy the Sct flash tuner? (i think thats what the product is called), and pay someone to tune?

With the two ide spend about 800 right? 400 for flasher, 400 for service.

Sounds like you are the right track with your mods. Since you are local to fswerks, I'd just be calling them for your tune and other parts you need, they will get you what you need.

You said you just moved to SoCal, not sure if you were from out of state but just know that your state is rather strict when it comes to modifying emission parts on your car. So you may have issues getting your car past inspection, might have to return to stock to pass some parts of it.

Yup. Thats the OBX header (cosworth copy btw). Had one of the first ones on my old car. Nice piece.
