Where is the best place to get a SVT Factory quality rim from?

Go to the rim/wheel shops in your town. Most of them will repair rims, if not have a connection to do this. My brother just got 4 rims refinished and repaired on his Trans Am for reasonably cheap.... and one of the rims had a 'piece' missing so that should give you an example of how much they can repair. They can also repair bent rims also.

I am so paranoid about this, I park about two feet away from curbs, I'm surprised I haven't gotten a ticket yet. I hate parallel parking, it scares the cheese outta me. I did it all the time with no problem in my Mom's car, but we all know pride of ownership...

Don't buy it from Ford, I was stupid enough (and in a hurry) to do that and it was almost $300 for one wheel plus installation and all the assorted tire fees, it came out to almost $400 for just one wheel for just one curb hit. [8]

I just did it again the other day, but this time was salvageable. How bad is yours? Really bad? I got maybe a 2" long gash on the edge of the wheel, it looked bad but with some filing, sanding, and painting it actually is almost invisible unless I were to point it out. I agree that this car is hard to parallel park, I never used to be paranoid about parallel parking, but now I always put the passenger mirror down so I can see the curb!! The SVT rims are WAY too soft, the slightest touch against a rough curb will eat those wheels up bad.

I looked into tire rack. I was on my way out to school and I hit this pothole that consumed my wheel! I was worried about the front of my car because I was on a decline and making a 100 degree turn at a stop light. The next thing I know I feel this horrible clunk in the back and my heart just dropped. I was like oh shit! I pulled into the parking lot and sure enough I have about a 3 inch chunk out of my wheel...

By the way Zach, you have the greatest signature I saw here. Very nice graphic. And your web site is awesome (the links don't works tho). Are you a graphic designer or what?
Thank You. I could make you one.

Why yes I am! [:)] Well getting there. I am doing an internship this coming summer and then I graduate next Fall Semester, it is taking me a while to get my minor in marketing. I haven't gotten to the other webpages because college, work, and the g/f just eat the time up. Besides it is way too nice outside to be sitting in front of the computer. I will save that for those cold days that are right around the corner.

Good Work Zach, I second the compliment.
When you replace the tires, consider getting ones that have a rubber area sticking out to protect the wheel. It is actually very common. The Bridgestone RE 750 that I bought have it.
