do you know if that crosses over to the same frequency as walkie talkies? so people who don't have one can just download that app

Voxer i believe doesnt use data. I think is one of those apps people download to save money. I use mine all the time with friends.

I beleive we have 4 of them we'll bring along.

 

I have walkies but GOD knows where they are, so I will be with out. We also have a dumb phone so no app for us. If one of the people south of me has an extra I would be honored if you let me use it until we arrive. Well maybe not honored, but grateful for certain!!

Is there an officially designated FRS radio channel and sub channel(quiet code)?

Alternately I can just put mine on scan when I see the big line of Foci going down the road.
