Nice! Looks pretty much just like mine. Except mines a magnaflow dual exit with vibrant tips

Only a couple years late but finally had my ST wing painted by a friend (and for free to boot) and installed.
...
I guess the black wing goes with the wheels, whiskers, and fog light trim, but I think it would look better in that gorgeous Red Candy to match the rest of the car -- assuming you could ffind a painter skilled enough to get a good match with that color.

Black headlamps eventually but my truck needed some work and the Subi got a new downpipe and reflash so hard to justify money for the headlamps to my wife and really,it's her car.

I thought about a color match but my friend who is a professional said he could do it but it would've cost a bit for the paint and work involved vs him doing it for free in gloss black plus it does have a theme since if it was red I'd want all the black trim painted also.
I'm keeping it on a budget since it really is our DD and practical car for around town and the scheme works for a cheap car.

I've gotten a comments from a few people who like it simple and clean and just enough to not look like all the other MK3s around here.
The youngsters at my job like it too along with a lot of 40+ moms. [giggle]

I'd rather do a twin tip catback vs the headlamps right now but we'll see what my wife thinks.

rear rotor size is the same across all focus models tho. nothing big about them
Actually the RS rear rotors are 302 mm vs 270 for the Base and ST rear disk brake rotors like the Volvo S40/V50/C30 et al but with a thicker casting that fits better. The caliper is the same but the bracket is different due to the rear suspension, but the Mazda3/Mazda5 rear caliper bracket adjusts the position of the caliper on the suspension arm and allows for the use of the larger rear rotors from the RS or the Volvos with 302 mm rear rotors as described by the frankenbrake upgrade on the ST forums

What he said, lol.

I just wanted to follow up with the finale, since they've been bled, bedded, zinc burned off, and cleaned up! Eyeballs don't want to seem to stay in my head when braking now ...

Since there was some confusion previously... Fronts 320mm>332mm, Rears 272mm>302mm. Luckily, all my new caliber brackets were stamped FoMoCo (despite the Mazda origin on the rear). Rotors from Brake Performance, pads/lines from Mountune and Motul 600.

Got some new wheels! Although the wheels you see here aren't the ones I ordered, lol. I ordered Konig Dekagram's, received Konig Ampliforms. I can't say I'm mad about it. The more I look at these, the more I start to prefer them over the Dekagram's so I think I'll keep them being that there's no price difference between the two. I'm currently working with the company I ordered them from about the issue. Hopefully I can at least get a partial refund. They're 18x8.5, 43 offset.
