Cool stuff I see.... actually now that I see you got all the plastic trim removed have you considered gloss blacking those bare plastics? I'm talking about the center lower grill and the fog light bezels. Possibly the rear valence grills too

Now that you mention it, I kinda want to! The rear valance grills are already installed but I'm tempted now haha

I would do the plastic Satin black rather than gloss (but that's just me and my OEM head on lol).

BTW... that euro 2015 hatch is sooooo nice! Why did I leave the UK???!!!? P.s. the ass looks slightly smaller compared to the '12 or is that just me?

The bare plastic that it is now fades too. If you paint it correctly, it won't fade. Adhesion promoter, primer, 1k base, 2k clear

Ford parts. Com will not ship bumpers or most valances... the 15 Hatch rear valance will NOT fit a 12-14...however the 15 Sedan Valance will fit the 12-14 sedan.... we are working on getting boxes made to be able to ship valances and bumpers though

From looking a the pictures, it looks like to use the Euro valance you would need to get at minimum the Euro rear lights as they are smaller, and MAYBE a euro rear hatch? The body shell itself seems to remain the same?

NOTE: Don't go looking to buy the parts until some can confirm or deny!!!

Just as simple as any vinyl wrap I assume. Just need a heat gun and your vinyl and some patience. The outcome can look as if the factory did it. I used a matte black vinyl wrap.

True. over time most owners out there might not detail their cars crazy... and then you end up with swirls and faded gloss black.

My thoughts exactly. See by doing so it would match the front center grill... I think for cost and wear purposes ford decided to manufacture it bare plastic cuz it will significantly cut costs which makes sense for our market. Imo us here in North America the big picture is that most people use these cars as dailys and could care less... in my area especially people beat these cars up partly due to weather too... I haven't seen any other non mk3 ST enthusiasts.... =(

Ouch! Looking at that hurts me as much as it does you. Well, maybe not quite that much, but I feel for you. I think you just helped me decide to stick with my 16" wheels, BTW.

The question now is, "Do you need to get some negative rep points for doing that to your car?"
