Dmb gel overlays today. Love the quality but wish they were a tiny bit bigger to cover every bit of the blue.

Another valid point. I would shop around some more
I get what you guyz mean, but i'm not really looking into performance improvement.
It was more about the look, and the sound...

I don't get how you could get a system for 100 bucks ? Only the muffler i'm buying is 150$, both tips are 55$ ea. and they need to get me 2x 90 degree piping at 30$ ea.

I believe he said $100 more

Gotcha,

My bad

Thanks guyz, i'll try to look into something different.

Look into trying to do 2.25" if you're not as concerned with performance. It'll give you a small bump but will also let you get more sound too. Also, with such a large rear muffler you don't really need two other mufflers/resonators. Two total would probably do you.

I did ask my local mechanic guy about what you wrote and he isn't sure about what you were suggesting, as I am neither cause this really isn't my expertise [:I]
What do you mean by two other mufflers/resonator?
I checked with my original piping (from cat to the back) and we have a 2.25" pipe that goes into the large muffler in the back, from this muffler a normal pipe exit at the back of the car... I was planning to remove the muffler, fit that 2.25" of my car on the 2.5" magnaflow muffler "in", and then dual out (on each side) to the back of the car. - 410$ installed, tips included
I did look into a muffler that had a 2.25" "in", but this muffler had a dual out on the same side of the muffler, which meant I had to add a long pipe alllll the way to the other side to get a dual exit (such as mazdaspeed axle back) - this system wa smore expensive though, 480$ installed, tips included

What are you proposing exactly ? and do you have any part examples to buy?
Thank you so much[hihi]

What are you proposing exactly ?

I thought we were discussing a single in, dual out exhaust set up. What were you talking about??? Last time...

^^^our factory exhaust set up. There are 3 (three) "sound devices", a muffler in the tunnel, a resonator and then the lunchbox. You don't need three, unless you want a super quiet exhaust and if you're trying to change up the sound I assume you want more growl not less.

There's a difference between outside and inside dimensions on piping. The pipe on our cars stock is 2". So, going up to 2.25" will give you better flow and a small bump in performance. Magnaflow's system uses 2.25" pipe as does FRPP (IIRC).

IMO if you're going to spend the money, do it right the first time and don't cheap out.

As for parts suggestions...
Mandrel bent pipe from flange back
Magnaflow 12265
Vibrant 1792

Then whatever tips you want

Nice hood!

And now that I've explained exhaust yet again... Let's try and keep the show running properly with MOD PICS!!!

klotche... If you still need more help, check out the exhaust threads or PM me...
