x2... looks like some of the foci I used to make on NFSU2 when i was 14... but at least its a nicely fitting kit ill give him that much.

The front 3/4 view looks kinda cool - it definitely redeems the almost unredeemable '05 front end; but the rear bumper is a disaster.

Yeah the rear bumper is weird though. He needs to put his side moldings on too cause the Cervinis side skirts are designed for them.

the fronts decent but a nice svt or SAP rear bumper would fix that baby right up!

I do like how the front bumper finishes off the body lines from the quarter panel, but the grill and everything is to boxy. I think it could have been a little better executed like maybe keeping the grill area more fluid or organic like the rest.

That rear bumper blows, and the sides are okay.

 

That kit screams 'CHEAP' to me. And that rear bumper [vommit]

^I agree. Front bumper is a little out of place. Same with SAP bumber. I feel like its too much. Reminds me of trains.

For semi rice, I like the front bumper but the rear is way too fried rice for me. That rear diffuser is just way too much, personally. Like it's been said, an SVT bumper would look good or even just a stock bumper with a rear lip added to it.

That's the kit this is, if anyone remembers. This must have been very difficult to get a hold of. He messaged me on cardomain and said there where only like 5 made.

 

Looks outstanding on the altair car. If he did a paint scheme it would look alot better.

uh, yeah. Nothing flows together on that car. cervinis skirts look silly w/out the side moldings. Rear bumper is way too extreme for plain silver paint. Perhaps it'd look better if the diffuser part was black or a darker silver. Front bumper looks incomplete w/ stock headlights. Wheels look ridiculous with body parts that wild. He's got a lot more work ahead of him to make all those parts work together imo.

you know, if this guy has failed THAT badly then I think I should be worried....... ok, I'm worried. [paranoid] His kit has a TON of potential. Just the fact that he managed to get a hold of it I think is a great feat but he does need to work on the execution. One reason I liked the concept version Altair made was the way they did the paint. It made it look like the kit was more complex and expensive, like with multiple parts or something. I guess it really accentuated the positives and brought out what the design did really well. In just plain silver... yea, well it looks bland. I got it! It has no depth! The concept had that, he needs a new paint job and some new pieces.

I never said that kit looked 'rice' I just said it looked 'cheap'. Everyone has their own opinions on what is rice and what isn't. If we all had the same opinions on everything this world would be a very boring place now wouldn't it?

 

I remember seeing that in one of the old focus mags a while back. I liked the styling they did on the front. Rear diffuser is a bit large imo.
