I don't think I've heard a loud noise after applying the parking brake, but I have on several occasions notice the car "slightly jerk" a second or two after applying the parking brake if I'm on a slight incline.

 

the car moving forward until it hits the park pawl or the hand brake is the hill launch assist releasing the brake pressure after the car is stopped.

 

I get the noise even on flat street without rolling or nothing even when I park in my garage. It's like the break clicks into place or something.

 

When parking, keep your foot on the brake pedal until the parking brake is applied.

The mistake that some people make is to put the trans in 'P', take their foot off of the brake pedal, and then apply the parking brake.

 

I have a manual tranny.. So i use my parking brake.
I have never had any issue.
I have put it on both with stepping on the brake, and not.
So I have no idea why the op parking brake is making noise.

When a brake is broke it's a break.

 

So after i park and apply parking break i head a loud noise like i pull the break too far ...

I have brought my car in probably at least 6 times for transmission issues, every time i have brought it in they could not address why the issues where happening, or cannot replicate Ive had to have a rental car (a fiat!...) for probably a total of month or more because of all the issues, they dented my car (they fixed it, but was in the shop another week). Im honestly trying to just unload the car with all the issues i have had. I haven't even had the car a year. They guys are nice, but to have no answers for these issues and to have tranmission problems while on the freeway and telling me to power off the vehicle is not ok... or safe..
