65mm tb are awesome! you don't have to modify the intake manifold for this to work however most make the intake opening the same size to match the tb. 7-10hp gain is a lie tho, 1-2 is more like it, HOWEVER the larger tb give much better throttle response and real wakes up the engine, its a good investment, I love mine [thumb]

 

Im definitly looking into getting one, our stock tb's seem like a joke

 

The stock tb is a dixie cup with a wafer cookie in it.

Very good investment, they go on sale here somewhat often for a decent price. I've got the BBK 65mm, you'll have to slightly relearn that gas pedal foot, as skypilot said, it becomes VERY responsive. And if you have an aftermarket intake, gives it a nice whistle.

 

Aftermarket Intake? I looked every where for one. If you could post links to my Intake options for my Zetec that would be great!

Do you guys notice any difference between the 65mm TB and the 67 mm c-f-m TB?

 

I just went on ebay and got a Intake Manifold - Smooth Seam Runner part 988F-9424-BE

I think this is supposed to be the one that everyone says flows better.

Anyone confirm this?
