For you folks with weeks / months to wait for new clutches. It's a good idea to contact your dealer every 7 to 10 days, rather than waiting for the dealer to contact you.

My info is that the clutches arrive at the dealer in batches. The dealer assigns customer contact to a clerk in the Parts Dept with the instruction to contact owners and set appointments.

Well guess what ? No one is watching over that clerk to see that the job is done, along with the hundred other things that Parts Dept clerk has to do. So that calling you is NOT his/her number one assignment!

Additionally, I'm told that some owners are NOT responding, and/or NOT keeping appointments.

So, follow my advice and your new clutches will most likely be installed sooner than you expected.

The car drives fine. I'm not too worried about it.
I didn't take it in because if the clutches. I wanted the reprogramming done to unlock more options on the tuning aspect.
I'm confused, if it drives fine, why does it need new clutches, and HOW are you able to get your dealer to oblige? My dealer wouldn't consider ordering clutches even when my car was lurching and shuddering like crazy.

I think a lot depends on the dealer. Mine had a bunch of clutches in stock when I took my car in a week ago, so I just had to wait two days.

Unlike two years ago, my dealership is no longer in denial about this, and no longer tries to tell me my lurching, grinding, vibrating car is operating as intended. It almost makes up for the way they treated me when I first started complaining about it.

"almost" but, not really.

It is funny how the dealers tunes are changing though isn't it? For the first two years I owned my lemon they treated us like we had no clue what we were talking about. The last year of ownership it I could have told him my blinker fluid was low and he would have bent over backwards to try and fix it.

Took mine in about two weeks ago and the dealer said the clutch parts were on back order, but that the wait time wasn't too long. They called this week and said the parts were in and they booked me in for next week.
