Stress bar looks great! I want to get one for my 06...

 

CFM shipped incredibly fast too. I have felt a huge difference in taking turns with the front bar installed.

I'm hoping Thursday afternoon I can get the red tail light LEDs in.

 

your license plate leds don't flicker do they? i heard they sometimes do thats why i haven't bought any yet.

 

The 42 draft design ones do NOT flicker. They are the correct wattage thus no flicker. the other led sites have lower wattage ones that cause the flicker and premature failure.

 

Other than the difference in feel when turning, can you describe what the stress bar does? I've seen them, they look cool, if they do what I think they do, I may be interested in one.

 

The upper stress bar doesn't really function because of our strut mounts are on the firewall. I can tell you the lower will make a slight difference.

 

How are those lug nuts cut? From what I hear its a big no-no to use aftermarket lug nuts on stock rims and the other way around because the taper of stock lugs tend to be more rounded while aftermarkets have a straight chamfer making them not seat properly.

I'd get rid of those LED reverse lights in a hurry, those projector style bulbs do not offer visibility from an angle. You should use an LED bulb that utilizes the reflector to maximze visibility from all angles. If you're in an accident and someone sees your projector style bulbs, that may put you at fault depending on local authorities.

Otherwise everything else looks great!
One thing about the stress bar is that I believe the CFM bar installation requires the rerouting of those AC lines, but I could be mistaken for the FSWerks bar...

 

The stress bar does not require rerouting of the ac lines. It will be very close and maybe even touching but it will not harm anything.

 

is your ac line under the stress bar or on top to the left?

so its just like mine, though you managed to get the bolt back on. did you have to bend it?

 

I split mine but I used the rubber mounting thing to brace the left line against the bar for extra protection, don't have a picture of it but it works GREAT. Here is what mine looked like before I did that, it did touch it.

 

I got both lines under the Stress bar. two years strong.... still some cold A/C for this 100+ weather...

 

Mine does not touch even with the bolt back in... hmmm idk lol

 

how mush of a pita is it to put the rear stress bar in

 

Did we ever confirm the projector style reverse light issue? I want to obtain a pair but don't want them if they don't offer visibility.
