not sure on all that, but i know that borla always sounds good!!!

 

just replace your main muffler with that perhaps?

 

Thanks for the input guys. I thought about just replacing my muffler with that but it seems like it would be far to loud. Like I said I want something that sounds throaty but isnt noxiously loud.

 

borlas are deep. their full systems usually pair them with a resonator, and they are commonly thought of as the best exhaust there is, for those who want a non-rice/raspy noise.

 

personally I kinda like those mufflers the honda guys use that make your car sound like a dirtbike...

everyone has their own opinion, but the OP wants it to not be too loud, so i am guessing he wants the more mellow tone

 

i doubt that one would sound too ricey... I wasn't actually talking about the one in the pic. I think it would sound better than stock

 

Alright Im probably just going to use that muffler along with some sort of cheap glasspack as a resonator to tone it down a bit. For a better sound should I put the resonator after the Borla muffler or before?

 

before. thats how the true borla systems come.

 

just put that in place of the lunchbox and see what it sounds like. if its not what you want then you could put in a different resonator later

 

not sure it will fit. the foci mufflers are further upstream, by the gas tank. they just end in a tip cuz there's no space for a round muffler...MAYBE an oval, but i doubt that even.

 

Cool muffler. Nice find! Run straight pipe to that thing and wake your neighbors every morning! Thats what I'd do! =)
