Hey guys! Allan Luberda here, I love my 2000 focus zx3 "Kona edition", I am currently adding a 20,000 Watt sound system in the car.

I am adding exactly x4 80 lb high output agm car audio batteries.

a 20k watt 88 pound amplifier

60 pounds of high grade 0 gauge copper wire

and roughly about 150 pounds of wood on the back suspension.

All together, abouttt 650 extra pounds of weight will be added to the back.

as of right now when I HAD the equipment in the car but the frame or fender of the car, sagged down about 1" past the top of the tire, at idle.

I have no idea on what to upgrade in order for my car to look normal as if it was still stock.

I am looking for a kit or just springs, what ever is needed to better accommodate the weight being added.

I am on a very small budget, looking to do this as cheap as possible, n I am hoping someone from this forum will know exactly what I need to do...

Please Please! someone help me! PLEASE![pray][pray][pray]

Wouldn't need anything extra with that, it's a helper bag kit - not an air ride system.

Pump up with anything, 12V emergency pump would be enough. Whatever you use for tires.

( I oughta get one, that's not a bad price to keep it level when you throw junk in the trunk...) tempting

You could try the rear springs from an 05-07 zx4. My brothers ST sat with a 5" wheel gap stock. That would leave you with about 2.5" (or about the stock height) with your weight. Even if its a little more in the back if you need to level out your car in the front SVT springs will drop about .5", Ford racing adds about 1.5" which is about the lowest you go to keep it above the wheel.

example of the car your looking for rear springs to try.

I can't imagine somebody doesn't have some used springs for you to try to use for super cheap.

Also: As far as i can tell there is only a difference between the front struts mainly but I could be wrong. Worth a shot in your case.

My god thats gonna be a killer sound system. When I installed my sound system in my car i had sound deadening material spread throughout the car and especially in the back. The sound deadening material with a 40lb sub sitting in the trunk added around 200 overall in the car and maybe 150lb over the back wheels. My car sagged in the back a little more than an inch. not nearly as much weight as you will have though. What I did is when I lowered my car i lowered the front more then the back and just about made it even. If you don't plan to lower your car you could use coil spring clamps on the rear like these http://www.ebay.com/itm/like/230804062418?lpid=82 . however thats a very cheapy fix and is not good for your car and ride quality will suffer.

Yeah its gunna be pretty nasty, Iforgot to mention the subs are kcker solo x 18s, the manual states each sub weighs approx. 103Lbs. The magnet rings are 1" thick 12" wide slugs. I think im just gunna buy the air bags, cuz i have the extra cash at hand right now. add me on facebook (allan luberda) to see the update and build process. Ita gunna be a 150+ Decibel "Db" subwoofer system. Thats louder than a 747 at take off, Squeezed Into a ford focus walled off behind the seats.[wrenchin]
